DKB Code Factory GmbH ("DKB Code Factory") is committed to the following principles for protecting your data.

Processing of Personal Data

DKB Code Factory processes personal data as necessary for initiating or fulfilling contractual relationships with the data subject or for providing the services requested. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

To support the recruitment and hiring process, DKB Code Factory uses the service provider Greenhouse Software Inc., 110 Fifth Ave., 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10011, USA ("Greenhouse") as a data processor. Greenhouse processes applicants’ personal data exclusively on behalf of and according to the instructions of DKB Code Factory. Greenhouse is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Based on this agreement between the U.S. and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

DKB Code Factory also processes personal data if a data subject provides information via social media platforms such as LinkedIn or XING. This data is processed to offer job opportunities. Applicant data will be stored for this purpose for 6 months. The legal basis is Section 26(1) BDSG (employment) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in recruitment).

Use of Cookies

Google Tag Manager

DKB Code Factory uses Google Tag Manager on its website. This service is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, based on a data processing agreement. Google Tag Manager is a tool that enables the integration of technologies on the website based on previously made consent settings. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, store cookies, or perform any independent analytics. It is solely used to manage and deploy tools integrated via it. The IP address of the user's device is captured but not stored. Personal data may be processed by Google outside the EU/EEA. Processing of the mentioned personal data is carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in effectively managing our cookie technologies.

Webtrekk

DKB Code Factory uses “Webtrekk” on its website. This service is provided by Mapp Digital c/o Webtrekk GmbH, Schönhauser Allee 148, 10435 Berlin, based on a data processing agreement. Webtrekk enables statistical analysis of website usage to identify issues and investigate potential causes in order to provide a user-friendly website. These statistical data are also used to continuously improve the website and develop new sections in a user-friendly way. IP addresses are significantly shortened upon recognition and then immediately deleted. Cookies are deleted no later than 6 months after being set. The legal basis for the use of Webtrekk, regarding access to the device, is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. This service is essential for identifying issues and ensuring stable and secure website operations, as well as optimizing the site to meet user needs. Processing of personal data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting our legitimate interest in the aforementioned purposes and improving website usability.

Contact

If a request is submitted via the contact form on the DKB Code Factory website, the data entered (contact information, message content, and any attached files containing personal data) will be processed to handle the inquiry. Processing takes place to safeguard the legitimate interests of DKB Code Factory (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), specifically to provide secure contact, encrypted data transmission, and customer service.
